Business seminars and wedding celebrations, corporate conventions and community concerts, dance parties and specially themed film nights. They're all possible at the refurbished Majestic Theatre.
The auditorium is normally configured for 184 seats in the stalls and 50 in the gallery but the layout can be adapted to meet users' needs.
Talk to us about special seating and table arrangements for your function - up to 100 people at tables and chairs for a cabaret-style night, for example, or have the venue set up for dancing on the superb, sprung dance floor.
We provide all necessary staff, and top quality technical equipment is available.
Bar & catering
The Majestic boasts a fully licenced bar which operates at all events.
 Valentino's Cafe and Restaurant is the catering arm of the business, offering a full catering service to groups booking for silent film screenings - from sandwiches and cakes to hot lunches and dinners. The dining area seats up to 40 people and is adjacent to the auditorium, providing an attractive and convenient place to dine before or after a show.
Buffet meals can be provided for large crowds.
For more formal affairs such as weddings, corporate events or theatre dinners, you might prefer to choose from a range of menu options served in the auditorium itself. We’ll take care of all the hard work for your function including the table set-up, linen, cutlery, crockery.
