Where Silent Films Meet Live Entertainment

The Majestic Theatre is located in the heart of the Noosa Hinterland in the small historic town of Pomona. The Majestic Theatre is a not for profit, small community run theatre and cinema that has been in operation for over 100 years as both a community hall and a silent film theatre. The Majestic offers facilities for live events, functions, fundraisers, special events, private silent film screenings and much more!

Special Screenings of silent films accompanied by our resident organist Ron West on our 1937 Compton Organ is a unique authentic experience. You can book your own private screening for your social group or a birthday celebration or other. These screenings can involve historic tours of our venue.

We also offer Venue Hire for your special occasion.
