DAD AND DAVE - On our Selection - An Australian Silent Movie comedy. 'Cripes - Just what this country needs, a bloody good laugh.' This film is based on that book and Rudd's subsequent takes of the cantakerous Dad Rudd, his hardworking wife, Elle, and their well meaning, sweet natured but somewhat blundering son, including the tale of Dad's run for local political office.
