SILENT MOVIE - DAD AND DAVE

DAD AND DAVE - On our Selection - An Australian Silent Movie comedy. 'Cripes - Just what this country needs, a bloody good laugh.'    The Mark Twain of Australia, Steele Rudd made his name in 1899 with a book of short comic sketches, "On Our Selection" based on his upbringing on a homesteading farm in rural Queensland. This film is based on that book and Rudd's subsequent takes of the cantakerous Dad Rudd, his hardworking wife, Elle, and their well meaning, sweet natured but somewhat blundering son, including the tale of Dad's run for local political office.

Come and have a laugh at Dad and Dave, while Ron West plays the piano accompaniment on Saturday 9th December 12 noon. Tickets at the door - $14 adults; Free - school aged children.

Regular Silent movies at 12 noon on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays, of the month on Pomona Market Day.
