Majestic Nights is back with another incredible night of local and international artists at one of the most historic theatres in the world! Headlining on August 4 are Afro Psych superstars HighLife joined by Bassidi Koné with an incredible infusion of African rhythms, psychedelic funk, reggae, classical and Latin grooves! Huge local jammers Band of Frequencies with be melting down a thick mix of rock, blues, funk and psychedelic vibes. Local trio Dosed and DJ Roland West will be sure to get you on the dance floor. HIGHLIFE WITH BASSIDI KONE

Sunshine Coast based ‘Afro Psych’ band HighLife are joined by the legendary Bassidi Koné (West Africa) for this very special Majestic Night! Recently captivating the crowds at the Full Moon Dance, Woodford Folk Festival, Caloundra Music Festival and Island Vibe Festival, they’ll be sure to get you on the dancefloor! Their sets are well known for being high energy with a unique concoction of African rhythms, psychedelic funk and improvisational fusion described as ‘Afro Psych’. Joining HighLife is Bassidi Koné from West Africa. Bassidi has music in his veins with a fusion of Afro-jazz, Latin, reggae, classical and contemporary sounds. BAND OF FREQUENCIES

One of Australia's premier jam bands & true believers in sounds beyond boundaries, Band of Frequencies draw their influences from a vast spectrum of blues, roots, rock, funk and psychedelic styles. Their signature blend comes from years of live experimentation, constantly pushing their influences into the creative fires to see what melts, what explodes and what merges. They have now successfully forged a bond of sonic elements that represents their coastal roots and strikes a chord with music lovers around the globe. It's this quality that has lead to invitations to grace the stages of diverse festivals, at home and abroad, and to record soundtracks to several internationally released surf films.

A rad trio from the Sunshine Coast Hinterland that really do go way back. Since their inevitable emergence from the Jam Shed, their colourful mix of personalities have been creating a contagious high-energy presence on stage that makes it difficult for the innocent spectator to shy away. These boys are known to specialise in getting both the young and old punters up for a dance! They’ll captivate listeners through their unique focus on a clean and vibrant alternative rock sound.

DJ ROLAND WEST will be keeping the outdoor dancefloor pumping with a rad set of unexpected tunes and infectious sounds.
