Educational Screenings

The Majestic Theatre in Pomona is a renown silent film venue of worldwide significance. For the primary school students, they can step back in time and learn about the history surrounding them in the local area or perhaps write a narrative of the silent film they've enjoyed. Film has become an important component of media literacy studies in secondary schools, higher education, and for media and communication interest groups.

We are happy to accommodate requests for special screenings of event cinema such as plays and theatre works, and culturally and historically significant films from the silent film and classic film eras. Also, your group will be able to experience viewing the film in a cinematic historically significant location.
