The Majestic Theatre is the only theatre in the world that still continually screens silent movies,  and continues to attract both local and international audiences. It is also an important place for local and international musicians and performers to showcase their work. And serves as a artistic theatrical space for many local not for profit groups. The Majestic Theatre Pomona is a not for profit theatre and has hosted many great performers over its lifetime including Archie Roach, Katie Noonan, Kate Miller Heidke, Hermans Hermits and The Seekers to name just a few.

By becoming a member your contribution will assist in the preservation of an iconic 100 year old artistic venue, and support our local creative community and those from further afar. The cost is just $20 per year. You will also benefit from regular member “What’s On” updates and will be given a double pass to a general viewing of a silent movie valid for one year.

Volunteer, be Fantastic, and Join in the Fun 

This community owned not-for-profit venue is run entirely by passionate volunteers dedicated to supporting the Arts and preserving its place as one of the most iconic venues in Australia. The variety of functions and events that the Majestic offers requires a broad range of skilled and talented people to ensure their success. If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the forms below to become a member and share your talents with us!

We are continually looking to extend our skills database with volunteers who can assist with diverse tasks such as marketing, digital and social media, sound and lighting, hospitality service, pre and post event management, theatre drama practitioners, general building maintenance, administration, random tasks, as you team up with happy positive people.

It's a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills or to revive your skills.

Your contributions will be appreciated as you become part of history as we work together to keep the Majestic Theatre Pomona’s doors open for our community.
