Girl Friday, a popular part of the Sunny Coast jazz and blues scene, has been gathering an army of loyal fans who have been coming out to listen to their smooth standards and cool originals since 2016.

Michele G, who fronts the quartet with her dulcet tones and deep lyrics, is accompanied by bassist Logan McIvor, an accomplished musician and songwriter who performs everything from Brubeck to Bacharach and beyond, multi-instrumentalist Calvin Hunter, with his emotive sax solos adding spice to every tune, and jazz drummer, Peter Coombs, with his selection of sticks, brushes, percussion and personality enhancing every beat.
